Is Madna any different from the glossy city arcade? It’s the same species of animals jostling, elbowing for their demands. Agastya, a name, the pronunciation … its classic, ecstatic, vintage, and yes too Indian. However, the person might seem like tostada. Distasteful at times, with his cruddy lingo he might even turn you off. Yet, he is tempting with his novice ideals, metaphors, disgust and his stoned eyes. Even when stoned in an integration meeting, he plans to evade the next revenue meeting. You will oscillate between two friends – Ogu and Drubo. The protagonist even felt like relieving the burden the very Indian administration, yet a binding prudence ceased the madness. Thanks to Poltukaku.

Agastya (ah! How I love to pronounce this), his happy go lucky attitude, exasperation with everything that existed in Madna – from social to political, from esthetics to base. Jompanna was a more humane locale, saved the protagonist from the clutches of Vasant and his famous spinach, something that seemed to Ogu like sort of greenish or some other shade of green cow poop. The utter distrust that he had on Vasant’s cooking, he even tried to run an extra mile to peek-a-boo of the “famous Vasant’s kitchen.” Well, it reminds me of how “Basanta Cabin’s” kitchen might look to us! Thanks to the vacation that froze his inquisitive mind from venturing into something rogue! (Might be, I am not confident.)

The brainstorming Delhi holiday that played a first hand idea of taking rest back to work. The topping came with the “marriage proposal” from Manik kaku, who broke the juvenile dream of our sweetheart Ogu! Wake up, rise and shine your wedding is on the card. But, not to upset the readers once again, we will find our (aha!) Agastya still is unmarried in Bombay facing a housing quandary in the “Mammaries of the Welfare State,” although sans his Dadru (a frog friend) who would neither deny or defy his cynicism or sarcasm.
