As if ...
As if, you act to pretend to be naive
When my words are mature and ripe
As if, you care to open your arms
When my words meant to harm
As if, you mocked with your wholesome heart
When you knew we met to part
As if, you had all quintessence of change
When I stubbornly sit on my stony revenge
As if, you know my sleepless nights
When my dreams scorn their flights
As if, you know the fullness of my pensive mind
When our stories lay closely bind

And he read on to be a readerThe concept started on a note of interrogation. Why did she limit herself? The most complex sphere to deal is – relationship. Relations are meshed, crushed, used, returned, forsaken, benumbed … still they persist. They grow even without acknowledgement. So many poets, authors and many more to come will investigate, read, be read, learn, understand … yet so many formats will still be unvisited. My entire mind was in tabula rasa, after “the reader.” Probably, because I waited for long, I expected a lot and ultimately satiated.
What is this feeling that engulfs, completes, fills and never ever drains out. The body is significant, but more than that a mental affiliation is necessary. An urge for a woman not to show, a longing for a man to crave … crave even after he was brought down to ashes by words. The sternness of Hana’s voice was a form of self revelation; she was a beyond where both skin and touch could not reach. She had words all her life … hovered for them; she shied away in loss of them. What she wanted was not clarified, but a woman would never give in to despise … she will never be a burden (not physically I meant, but mentally). She knew it was time to move on.
Micheal, on the other side trying to cope up with the new world, an unexplored part … never knowing when this exploration will make him – complete. He was so full within that later nothing could touch him. No sense, no affection could bring the soul to life. Water, is the best metaphor in the entire movie; it drains, washes, touches … satiates … not leaving a mark outside. The “inside” is too delicate, never revealing the poetry that’s being created till its left by the creator.
Multiple feelings, innumerable emotions, rebels, destruction, creation, breaking boundaries, instituting morality, writing and rewriting fallacies, belonging, hurting … never parting. Thousand narrations in just two hours … were uplifting the unfathomable emotion. To add a concluding note, at last he shares … shares the “inside” with his world, his daughter, his voice echoing and traversing time reaching soul to soul – a sweet touch of life.

Breathing Nile, again!
That you try to break, my cold grey stones
Soothe, and laugh
To care my moans.
Your words do stand and watch me cry,
Put their hands on my tears now dry,
Nile, you flow deep down
As I row
There awake you’ll stay
To feed my day.
That your voice, now have equal-poised control
Here, my heart now wandered as a crowded soul
My eyes are blind
As I walk behind
My ears are deaf
Yet, I perceive my soul a brave
Nile, hoping that my letters will fall
Do you still wait outside my wall?
That you master my Holy Land
With your shinning hand
You brightly shine on your banks
To stealthily climb my mind’s ranks
Nile, now my feet are set
For an unknown date
To leave your pleasant farm
To die in another’s arm
To complete my image of pure regret.
